MGT-315 "ENHANCED THREAT & RISK ASSESSMENT"

Greetings to All,

Indio Public Safety and Security is pleased to host  MGT-315 "Enhanced Threat and Risk Assessment" for local jurisdictions, presented by Texas A&M, Texas Engineering Extension Services (TEEX).  

Texas A&M, Texas Engineering Extension Services (TEEX) 

TEEX is home to the National Emergency Response and Rescue training Center, which is funded by the U.S. Congress to improve the capabilities of emergency responders and local officials to respond to acts of terrorism, including those involving weapons of mass destruction.  It is member of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium, tasked to provide hands-on, scenario-driven training and exercises for local jurisdictions.

Course Information

This course will train participants how to apply all phases of the Dept. of Homeland Security and FEMA risk management process for critical infrastructure and key resources.  Students will be organized into teams and will conduct a hands-on site assessment during the second day of training.

Training will include methods to:

-  Identify and prioritize risk from all hazards

-  Assess vulnerabilities

-  Estimate consequences

 -  Equipment, training and exercises to mitigate risk

Target Audience 

Planning/Management level personnel, Law Enforcement, Hazardous Materials, Fire Services, Public Health, Health Care, Private/Public Sector Security, InfraGard, Owner/operators of office buildings, shopping centers and factories, Emergency Management, EMS, Public Works, Government Administrative, Public Safety Communications, Risk Managers and School Administrators and military.

Prior to attending the MGT 315 training, TEEX strongly encourages completing the online WMD/Terrorism for Emergency Responders (Course # AWR160)  which provides an excellent introduction to the WMD Threat and Risk Assessment course.  Upon completion a certificate will be sent to document the training hours.

Game Protection Training

Rincon Gaming Commission is hosting a series of trainings on Game Protection presented by world renowned expert on game protection, George Joseph of Worldwide Casino Consulting, Inc. The following topics will be presented:
